Inventory Plus was one of the first inventory application for the Apple II. Written entirely in 6502 assembly language with its own underlying database system using direct disk access.
It was created at the request of Columbia Heights High School school district to solve the problem of tracking food service inventory across several schools.
The author Tim Cimbura took inspiration for the menuing system from the popular Apple II disk copy program called “Copy II Plus”. It was a step up from trying to use Visicalc spreadsheet to manage the inventory. For a short time, it was available for purchase in local retail stores.
